File Targets
You can connect a file target to your data flow to load the ETL into a file, rather than a server. The file produced is saved to a given shared folder path, which can be a static value or a dynamic PQL expression.
Data Model is not supported for file targets, as there is no need to configure a semantic layer for the data model or role-level security; when an ETL is loaded into a file target, you can simply process the ETL immediately.
Supported File Targets
The following file types may be used as targets:
- Amazon S3
- Azure Blob
- Box
- CSV
- Excel
